A Rotator
Usually starts around Connector, Window, Jungle, Stairs or close to A Site depending on spawn, utility and the defensive setup. Can change responsibilities with the AWPer, Window player, A Anchor or Short player between rounds, especially when the CT side wants to contest Mid, support A or rotate quickly between bombsites. In this slot, the player is the central nervous system of Mirage CT side: Connector control affects Mid, A, Jungle, Window and even late B rotations, so every movement has consequences.
Pathings and possibilities from starting Connector
- Fight Mid / Top Mid with teammate utility to deny early control. (Aggressive)
- Hold Connector passively, supporting A while keeping vision toward Mid. (Defensive)
- Rotate toward Jungle, Stairs, Window or Short according to pressure and information. (Situational)
Pathings and possibilities from starting Window / Jungle
- Support Mid fights with flashes or crossfires
- Fall back into Jungle / Stairs to protect A
- Rotate toward B through Short / Market when Mid pressure shifts
Mid-round patterns
- Control Connector as the main link between Mid and A, helping the team prevent easy splits while staying ready to trade the A players. Decide whether to fight Mid, hold the choke or fall back into Jungle / Stairs according to utility and teammate information. This makes sense when the CT side wants stable Mid control without weakening A too much.
- Support A from Connector / Jungle / Stairs, reacting to Ramp, Palace and late Mid pressure. The assignment can help the A Anchor survive the execute, trade first contact or delay the plant while rotations arrive. The setup fits when information points toward an A hit, when Ramp control is lost or when the CT side wants a strong layered A defense.
- Rotate toward B or Short after Mid information is gathered, keeping the defense connected without abandoning A too early. This requires reading whether Mid pressure is real, a fake or just default space-taking. The pattern fits slow rounds, when the B Anchor needs support or when the CT side has enough A information to move an extra player across the map.
