B Rotator
Usually starts around Short, Catwalk, Ladder Room, Window, Connector or Market-side positions depending on spawn, utility and the team setup. Can change responsibilities with the Mid player, B Anchor, Connector player or AWPer between rounds, especially when the CT side wants to contest Mid, support B Apps or stay ready for fast rotations. It links Mid control with B defense, and bad timing can leave either the B Anchor isolated or Mid completely exposed.
Pathings and possibilities from starting Short / Catwalk
- Fight Mid / Top Mid / Catwalk with teammate utility to deny early control. (Aggressive)
- Hold Short passively, watching Catwalk and staying ready to support B. (Defensive)
- Rotate into Market, B Site or Connector according to pressure and information. (Situational)
Pathings and possibilities from starting Window / Ladder
- Support Mid fights with flashes, swings or crossfires
- Fall back into Short if Mid control becomes dangerous
- Reconnect with B when Apps pressure appears
Mid-round patterns
- Control Short / Catwalk as the bridge between Mid and B, tracking whether Ts are building toward a B split, Mid control or late A pressure. Decide whether to hold Short, fall Market, help Connector or reinforce B according to the information gathered. It suits default rounds where the CT side needs flexibility and Mid presence.
- Support the B Anchor from Short / Market, helping against Apps hits, B splits and late Catwalk pressure. This allows the anchor to play stronger site positions without being completely isolated. It fits when Ts show B Apps pressure, when Mid control is uncertain or when the CT side wants a safer B setup without stacking too early.
- Re-clear or pressure Mid / Apps-side routes in the mid-round to recover information and deny late splits. This can free the Connector player or AWPer to rotate elsewhere while keeping B playable. Teams choose it when Ts slow down after early Mid utility, when B has been quiet for too long or when the CT side needs information before committing rotations.
