Outside
Usually starts around T Spawn, Silo, T Roof, Outside, Lobby or close to Secret timings depending on spawn and the opening plan. Can change responsibilities with the AWPer, Lobby players or lurker between rounds, especially when the team wants to pressure Outside, threaten Secret, fake upper or punish CT rotations. It can create space, sell pressure, lurk behind rotations or turn Outside control into lower access.

About these averages
Metric: all archived map-side rows with the exact Nuke T “Outside” label. Timeframe: 2024-12-18 to 2026-08-28. Sample: n=5,937.
Source: CSdex V1 aggregate performance archive. Fallback: no fuzzy role-label mapping. Risk: the average describes the archive, not the correct target for every team or round.
Pathings and possibilities from starting Outside
- Fight Yard / Garage / Red with utility support to pressure CT map control. (Aggressive)
- Hold passive Outside angles to punish CT pushes, re-peeks or rotations. (Defensive)
- Drop Secret, return Lobby or split Main / Heaven according to CT reactions. (Situational)
Pathings and possibilities from starting Lobby / Roof
- Support Outside smokes and cross timing
- Fake upper pressure before joining Secret or late Yard
- Lurk behind Main / Heaven rotations after teammates create pressure elsewhere
Mid-round patterns
- Pressure Outside as the main playmaker, using smokes, timings and spacing to force CTs into difficult rotation decisions. Decide whether to cross Secret, hold Yard, punish re-peeks or return toward Lobby according to the information gathered. This makes sense when the T side wants to threaten lower without fully committing early.
- Lurk around Outside / Secret to punish rotations and split the map open. In this slot, the player can cut off lower rotations, create late Main pressure or force CTs to keep extra players watching Yard. The pattern fits slow defaults, after Outside utility has forced reactions or when the team wants to make upper pressure more believable.
- Reconnect with Lobby / A after drawing attention Outside, turning CT movement against them. The goal is not always to finish lower, but to stretch the defense and create a better timing for Hut, Squeaky or Main hits. The setup fits when CTs over-rotate toward Secret, when the upper site becomes thin or when the round depends on a late fake-to-hit conversion.
