B Connector
Usually starts around Connector, B Site, Water, Temple-side routes or Mid/B rotation paths depending on spawn, utility and the defensive setup. Can change responsibilities with the B Anchor, Mid Rotator, AWPer or A players between rounds, especially when the team wants to contest Connector, support Water fights, reinforce B or stay flexible between both bombsites. It protects B from splits, supports Mid control and helps the team rotate without leaving the bombsite completely isolated.

About these averages
Metric: all archived map-side rows with the exact Anubis CT “B Connector” label. Timeframe: 2024-12-18 to 2026-08-28. Sample: n=1,516.

Pathings and possibilities from starting Connector / Water
Fight Connector / Water with teammate utility to deny early T control and disrupt split timings. (Aggressive) Hold Connector passively, gathering information while staying ready to support B. (Defensive) Rotate toward B Site, Mid or A according to pressure, utility and teammate calls. (Situational)
Pathings and possibilities from starting B-side positions
Support the B Anchor against B Main pressure Help Water / Connector fights with flashes, trades or crossfires Fall back into Site / Temple when Ts gain space or commit heavy utility
Mid-round patterns
Control Connector as the support layer between Mid, Water and B, making it difficult for Ts to build clean splits into the bombsite. Decide whether to fight forward, hold the choke or fall back into Site according to utility, teammate spacing and the amount of pressure shown. Expect this when the CT side wants B to stay stable without relying only on the site anchor. Support B from Connector / Temple-side positions, helping the anchor survive pressure from B Main, Water or late split timings. The goal is often to delay, trade and keep the site playable instead of taking isolated fights. It fits when information points toward a B hit, when Water control is contested or when the CT side wants a stronger layered B defense. Rotate through Connector toward Mid or A when B pressure disappears or information points elsewhere. In this slot, the player has to read whether silence around B is real, a fake or just a delayed hit before leaving the bombsite weaker. It suits slow rounds, fake-heavy rounds or situations where the CT side needs one player to keep both sites connected. Re-clear Water / Connector in the mid-round to recover information and reset the defense. This can stop Ts from slowly boxing the B players into passive positions and allows teammates to rotate without guessing. Teams choose it when early map control was lost, when Ts slow down after utility or when the CT side needs a proactive move before the final execute.
