A Rotator
Usually starts around Squeaky / Door, A Site, Hut-side support, Main or close to Heaven depending on spawn and the defensive setup. Can change responsibilities with the A Anchor, Main player, AWPer or Ramp rotator between rounds, especially when the team wants to pressure Lobby, deny fast upper hits or stay ready for vent / lower rotations. One sound cue can force a choice between fighting upper, dropping vent, supporting Main or rotating lower.
Pathings and possibilities from starting Door / Squeaky
- Fight Squeaky / Lobby with teammate utility to punish fast pressure. (Aggressive)
- Hold Door from safer A positions, delaying upper hits without overcommitting. (Defensive)
- Drop vent or rotate lower according to sound, utility and teammate information. (Situational)
Pathings and possibilities from starting A Site / Main-side
- Support Hut and Squeaky contact with flashes or crossfires
- Help Main / Outside control before returning to upper
- Stay connected to Heaven / Vent rotation paths
Mid-round patterns
- Control Squeaky / Door pressure while staying connected to the A Site structure. Decide whether to fight, delay, close the door, reposition or fall back according to the speed of the hit and the utility Ts have used. It fits when the CT side expects upper pressure, fast vent drops or Lobby-heavy defaults.
- Rotate through Vent / Lower when the round shifts away from upper. In this slot, the player often has to be the first connector between the A defense and the lower bombsite, especially after sound cues, outside pressure or fake upper contact. Teams choose it when Ts threaten secret, drop vent or force the CT side to react quickly between bombsites.
- Support Main / Heaven / Ramp connections without fully abandoning A. The hard decision is keeping the upper site protected while still helping the rest of the map before Ts commit. It suits slower rounds, when Outside control is contested or when the CT side needs a flexible player to cover multiple timings.
