Outside Rotator
Usually starts around Outside, Garage, Main, Secret, Heaven or close to CT Spawn depending on spawn, utility and the defensive setup. Can change responsibilities with the AWPer, Main player, Ramp rotator or A players between rounds, especially when the team wants to contest Yard, deny Secret, fake outside presence or rotate quickly between upper and lower. Outside information decides whether the defense can keep upper stable, reinforce lower or stop Ts from splitting the map.
Pathings and possibilities from starting Outside
- Fight Yard / Red / Silo with teammate utility to deny early T control. (Aggressive)
- Hold Garage / Secret / Main passively to track crosses and protect lower rotations. (Defensive)
- Rotate through Main, Heaven or lower according to utility, sound and teammate information. (Situational)
Pathings and possibilities from starting Main / Heaven
- Support Outside fights with flashes or crossfires
- Fall back into upper if Lobby pressure becomes dangerous
- Drop or rotate lower when Secret pressure is confirmed
Mid-round patterns
- Control Outside through positioning, utility and information, tracking whether Ts are crossing Secret, faking Yard or preparing a late upper split. Decide whether to fight forward, hold Garage / Secret or fall back into a safer rotation path according to utility and teammate spacing. It is practical when the CT side wants to keep the map connected without overcommitting to one bombsite.
- Rotate between Yard, Main, Heaven and lower according to timing cues. The hard decision is reading whether Outside pressure is real or just a way to pull defenders away from upper. This is common in default rounds, fake-heavy rounds or situations where the CT side needs one player to keep both bombsites playable.
- Re-clear or pressure Outside in the mid-round to recover information and deny late Secret timings. This can free the Ramp player, AWPer or A players to adjust without guessing. Expect this when Ts slow down after early smokes, when Outside has been quiet for too long or when the CT side needs information before deciding the final stack.
