B Anchor
Usually starts on B Site, B Doors or Window. The player in the role has to manage isolation better than almost any other Dust2 CT position, since bad utility timing or poor positioning can turn B into a free bombsite very quickly. Can occasionally start closer to Mid to support early fights, throw utility for Mid control or create false information before falling back into B. Utility discipline often decides whether the anchor gets overwhelmed or buys enough time for rotations.

Pathings and possibilities for B starts
Fight Upper Tunnels with teammate support or flash assistance to punish early T pressure. (Aggressive) Hold B Site passively with anti-rush utility, strong positioning and crossfires. (Defensive) Support Mid / B Doors fights and rotate back into B according to the information gathered. (Situational)
Mid-round patterns
- Anchor B Site through strong positioning and utility usage while adapting to the amount of Tunnel control Ts have taken. Set up with teammates when possible and decide whether to play close, back site, platform or behind the bombsite depending on the pressure and remaining utility. Expect this when information clearly points toward a B hit, advantage situations or rounds where the CT side wants to avoid unnecessary information plays.
- Play around Window / Doors to stay connected with Mid while still being ready to fall back into B. This allows the anchor to support Mid pressure, react faster to B splits and help the Mid player without fully abandoning the bombsite. Teams use it in default rounds, retake-oriented setups or situations where the team needs stronger Mid-to-B flexibility.
- Maintain or re-clear Upper Tunnels control with utility and timing. This can deny late B hits, punish lurks, confirm that B is clear or allow the team to rotate extra players toward A. It fits when Ts are showing slow defaults, when B pressure has been low across the half or when the CT side needs extra information in disadvantage situations.
