A Extremity
Usually starts around Long, Outside Long, T Spawn, A Ramp support timings or late Catwalk connections depending on spawn, default structure and the opening plan. Can change responsibilities with the Long entry, AWPer, Catwalk players or lurker between rounds, especially when the team wants to contest Long, fake A pressure, hold CT aggression or punish rotations. The player in the role keeps A-side pressure alive and forces CTs to respect both Long and Catwalk even when the main attack is developing somewhere else.
Pathings and possibilities from starting Long
Fight Long Doors with teammate utility to deny CT control and create early A-side space. (Aggressive) Hold Outside Long / Pit passively to punish pushes and preserve late-round pressure. (Defensive) Reconnect with Catwalk, Mid or late A hits according to CT reactions and team control. (Situational)
Pathings and possibilities from support routes
Flash or trade teammates contesting Long control Delay Long presence to create uncertainty before the final call Lurk late through Long to punish rotations or A retake movement
Mid-round patterns
Hold Long control while teammates pressure Mid, Catwalk or B, making sure CTs cannot push Long for free information. Decide whether to stay hidden, take space, hold the cross or regroup according to utility, sound and teammate progress. Teams use it in default rounds where the T side wants map control before choosing the final bombsite. Support A hits as the outside pressure layer, using Long timing to split the attention of Ramp, Site, Car and CT players. The assignment can turn Catwalk pressure into a much harder defense by forcing CTs to watch both A entry paths at once. It is practical when the team is building toward an A finish, when Long control is secured or when the round needs stronger trading structure. Lurk late around Long / Pit to punish rotations and keep A defenders trapped. The goal is not always to be first contact, but to create timing, cut off movement or force CTs to clear one more dangerous angle before rotating. Expect this when the team pressures B or Mid, when CTs over-rotate away from A or when the round depends on late map control. Reconnect with Catwalk / Mid pressure after forcing attention toward Long. This can make the CT side hesitate between holding A Cross, fighting Short or rotating back toward B. It fits when the T side wants to fake A pressure, punish passive A setups or turn Long control into a stronger late-round A split.
