A Extremity
Usually starts around Second Mid, Apartments, Boiler, Balcony or close to T Ramp depending on spawn, default structure and the opening plan. Can change responsibilities with the A playmaker, AWPer, Mid group or lurker between rounds, especially when the team wants to pressure Apartments, punish CT aggression, support A splits or hold late-round control. In this slot, the player keeps the A side of the map dangerous even when the main pressure is happening somewhere else: Apartments control can trap A anchors, threaten Pit, punish rotations and make every late A hit harder to read.
Pathings and possibilities from starting Apartments / Second Mid
Pressure Apartments / Boiler with teammate utility to deny CT control and create early A-side space. (Aggressive) Hold Apartments passively to punish pushes, protect the default and preserve late-round options. (Defensive) Reconnect with Mid, Short or Balcony pressure according to CT reactions and team control. (Situational)
Pathings and possibilities from support routes
Flash or trade teammates contesting Apartments / Boiler Delay Apps presence to create uncertainty before the final call Lurk late through Balcony to punish Pit, Site or rotation players
Mid-round patterns
Hold Apartments control while teammates work Mid, Banana or Short, making sure CTs cannot push Apps for free information. Decide whether to stay hidden, take space, regroup or explode into Balcony according to utility, sound and teammate progress. The pattern fits default rounds where the T side wants map control before choosing the final bombsite. Support A hits as the second layer of the attack, using Apps / Balcony timing to split the attention of Site, Pit and Mini Pit players. The assignment can turn a simple Short hit into a much harder defense by forcing CTs to watch multiple contact points at once. It works when the team is building toward an A finish, when Pit control is the main problem or when the round needs stronger trading structure. Lurk late around Apartments / Balcony to punish rotations and keep A defenders trapped. The goal is not always to be first contact, but to create timing, cut off movement or force defenders to clear one more dangerous angle before helping elsewhere. This makes sense when the team pressures Banana or Mid, when CTs over-rotate away from A or when the round depends on late map control. Reconnect with Short / Mid pressure after forcing attention toward Apartments. This can make the CT side hesitate between holding Pit, fighting Short or rotating back from B. The setup fits when the T side wants to fake Apps pressure, punish passive A setups or turn Apartments control into a stronger late-round A split.
