Banana Playmaker
Usually starts around T Ramp, Banana, Logs, Car, Half Wall or close to B support timings depending on spawn, utility and the opening plan. Can change responsibilities with the AWPer, B entry, roamer or A players between rounds, especially when the team wants to pressure Banana, force CT utility, punish aggression or create a late B timing. Banana control can force rotations, drain utility, isolate the B anchor and decide whether the round becomes a B hit, an A fake or a late reset.
Pathings and possibilities from starting Banana
Fight Banana with teammate utility to deny CT control and create early space. (Aggressive) Hold Banana passively to punish CT re-aggression, pushes or information plays. (Defensive) Reconnect with B, Mid or late A rotations according to CT reactions. (Situational)
Pathings and possibilities from support routes
Flash or trade teammates fighting Banana Force B utility before falling back into the default Delay Banana presence to create uncertainty before the final call
Mid-round patterns
Control Banana through utility, spacing and pressure, making it difficult for CTs to keep B stable without spending resources. Decide whether to keep fighting forward, hold for aggression or fall back after forcing utility according to damage, sound and teammate progress. It fits when the T side wants to build pressure before choosing the final bombsite. Play as the B hit enabler, using Banana control to create timing against the B anchor and support players. In this slot, the player can force CT smokes, clear close positions, trade first contact or set up the final execute. Teams choose it when the team is building toward a B finish, when CT utility is low or when the round needs stronger trading structure. Fake or delay around Banana to pull rotations and make the A side weaker. The goal is not always to finish B, but to force the CT side to respect the threat long enough for teammates to punish the other side of the map. Use this when the team has shown B pressure across the half, when CTs rotate quickly or when the final call depends on selling pressure. Re-aggress Banana in the mid-round after early utility has faded, punishing CTs trying to recover information. This can lock the B players into passive positions, protect the default and create a cleaner late-round decision. Look for it when Banana becomes quiet, when CTs are likely to re-clear or when the T side needs information before committing.
